This September will mark six years since the beginning of the Russian military operation in Syria. Six years is a long time, just like the very Second World War, although it is completely incorrect to compare the scale of these events. However, as it turned out, even such a mild military operation is capable of radically changing the balance of power in the region and strengthening Russian political positions on a global scale.
